Since 1927, Birmingham Green has endlessly expanded, providing intergenerational programs and person-centered, financially accessible Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Assisted Living services in Northern Virginia.
Our 24-hour-secured community has a strong resident-focused staff ratio, participates in monthly audits to ensure resident safety, provides continuous learning opportunities for all, and offers a full calendar of structured activities, engaging outings, and entertainment — including the latest technology and state-of-the-art innovation centers.
Our History
For more than 90 years, Birmingham Green has provided high-quality and affordable senior living care to residents and their families in Northern Virginia. It all started when five localities in our region combined efforts to purchase a 54-acre site on Centerville Road in Manassas to establish a home for those who didn’t have the ability to care for themselves.

Our licensed staff and compassionate leadership team are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our residents — 365 days a year. Each team member plays an important role in making Birmingham Green a comfortable place to enjoy life to the fullest, with expertise in person-centered care and the passion to treat everyone equally.
Our Foundation
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, the Birmingham Green Foundation helps expand our senior living services to the community at large. Through generous charitable donations, our team can help care for more residents who have exhausted their personal resources, allowing them to remain close to those who matter most in their lives.
