Last week, Birmingham Green celebrated National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW)! We wanted to recognize our team of dedicated RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff’s hard work with some well-deserved fun.
Starting on Sunday, May 8, we held our Mother’s Day Lunch before distributing cards and flowers to our staff members. We wanted to acknowledge the time and effort they put into helping others inside and outside of our campus and how much it is appreciated.
Our staff got snapshots taken in front of our decorated NSNCW backdrop that was part of a photo booth we set up from Monday to Tuesday. We also managed to get a closeup of some of our residents and staff getting creative together in our painting class held on Tuesday, May 10.
On Wednesday, May 11, we hosted a Cupcake Social and Courtyard Concert. Our sweet surprise didn’t end there though. We also held an Ice Cream Social on Thursday, May 12, for residents and staff to enjoy.
We closed our celebration of NSNCW on Friday, May 13, with indoor gardening activities for our residents and staff to participate in. Our residents continue to grow and thrive on our campus thanks to the support and services our RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff provide.
To all of our nurses, we thank you for everything you do at Birmingham Green!
