Did you know, tea is the second most popular drink in the world after water, with an estimated 3 billion cups consumed daily? Tea is not only widely consumed, but also touted for its numerous health benefits.
Green tea, rich in catechins, is a potent source of antioxidants that may lower inflammation and reduce risks associated with heart disease, cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders. It has also been linked to improved blood sugar regulation and gut health.
Black tea is the most popular worldwide. It is high in theaflavins and flavonoids, which support heart health, reduce the risk of stroke, and improve cholesterol levels.
Herbal teas like hibiscus have been shown to improve heart health and help manage blood pressure and cholesterol, while chamomile tea may promote relaxation and support better sleep.
