Birmingham Green is proud to announce that our Skilled Nursing facility recently earned a Five-Star designation for Quality Measures by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This Five-Star Rating is based on several Long-Stay and Short-Stay Quality Measures, and we scored better than the state/national average in multiple categories.

Fall Prevention (Rehabilitation & Therapy) – VSTBalance is an automated fall risk assessment tool offered at Birmingham Green that utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) with machine vision to objectively identify deficits in balance, gait, and function — the three main indicators of fall risk.

Wound Healing – We employ a Registered Certified Wound Nurse and Wound Specialty Physician to ensure extensive wound treatment practices demonstrated on-site get great outcomes.

Learning & Development – Three RN Nurse Educators on-site provide continuing evidence-based education with in-person and online training available. Education includes: Infection Control and Prevention, Dementia Care, Behavioral Health, and more.

Life Enrichment Technology – Birdsong tablets introduce residents to technology in a confidence-building, easy-to-use way that eliminates their fear and frustration and keeps them engaged, entertained, and connected to family, friends, and caregivers with the touch of a button.

Staffing – Our staffing levels are consistently above state and national averages for CNAs, LPNs, and RNs.

Food Services – Our on-site Chef creates a customized food and dining experience.
