To our Residents and Families:
We are excited to resume our quarterly Family Days across campus at Birmingham Green on Saturday, May 7, 2022, to celebrate Mother’s Day. All families are welcome and encouraged to attend. To arrange a visit, please visit this link and select Mother’s Day at the Nursing Home, Mother’s Day at The District Home Assisted Living, or Mother’s Day at Willow Oaks Assisted Living. After selecting May 7th, you will have the option to select an ‘Indoor’ or ‘Outdoor’ family visit. At this time, the community COVID-19 transmission level is ‘Substantial’ and we continue to require masks to be worn at all times while on campus. To maintain proper physical distancing during our event, we ask that residents have a maximum of three visitors. In the event of inclement weather, all visits will move indoors. We will continue to follow all visitation protocols currently in place.
Representatives from our rehabilitation provider, Select Rehabilitation, will be on-site and available to provide demonstrations of VSTBalance, Birmingham Green’s automated fall-risk assessment tool that pairs artificial intelligence with machine vision to objectively identify deficits in balance, gait, and function – the three leading indicators of a fall-risk. Family photo opportunities will also be available at the end of your visit. Members of Birmingham Green’s Administration, Nursing, and Social Services teams will be on-site to answer any questions you may have.
